CLUB MEETING: Program Evening – The Phone Camera Challenge

Join our Phone Camera Challenge — a fun, relaxed event celebrating the art of mobile photography. Open to all members, whatever your experience level.
How this will work
Shoot – Capture a single image with your phone camera – any subject, completely open.
Submit – Upload your image via our MyPhotoClub page. Closing date: 11:59 pm Sunday, 31 May 2026.
Celebrate – Each image receives personalised feedback, and all images will be displayed at our June Program night on Monday, 15th June. The evening starts at 7:15 pm.
What you need to know
- Open to all current members – no experience level required.
- One image per member. A single image of any subject.
- Phone camera only – must be a single exposure – no AI generated images.
- Your own work – must be a photo that you’ve personally taken.
- You can enter any photo – it doesn’t need to be taken between any certain dates.
- Editing is welcome using your normal competition workflow. Whether it’s a quick edit using your phone’s in-built editing tools, using any mobile editing tools/apps or any desktop tool.
- Image judging – we are going to have a little bit of fun with AI just to see what they think of your image, and then we’re going to have a small panel giving their feedback on the AI feedback.
- Images may appear in our club web galleries and selected shots may feature on our Facebook page.
The aim of the evening is for a bit of fun, so it’s not a competition, just a challenge.
Even if you don’t enter an image, come along and have a listen to what AI says. This should be fun.
