Mac’s Bridge 2025 Promises a Day of Wheels, Wings, and Warplanes.
The Mac’s Bridge Classic Car and Aircraft Festival is set to roar into Caboolture Airfield on Sunday July 6, 2025, and this year, it is bringing an extra layer of history to the tarmac.
Following its 2024 debut at Caboolture Airfield, this great Queensland tradition—uniting vintage cars, classic aircraft and featuring the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre and now a rare peek
inside the Caboolture Warplane Museum—promises a day of nostalgia, horsepower, and high-flying heritage. Whether you are a gearhead, a plane-spotter, or just out for a cracking winter outing,
this is one Sunday you will not want to miss.
In 2024, the Festival—sponsored by the Triumph Sports Owners Association Queensland (TSOAQ), the Mazda MX-5 Club, and the Caboolture Aero Club—drew thousands to marvel at a stunning blend of “wheels and wings.” (From the Event Organiser’s Website)
Entry to the show is by ticket obtainable from Try Booking: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1334769
Select ‘Type – 2 Spectator’ which costs $15 per vehicle including all occupants.
There is a small additional charge for entry to both aviation venues noted above (Australian Aviation Heritage Centre and the Caboolture Warplane Museum) should you wish to go inside.
The event, especially in relation to any flying activity (and also aircraft static displays), is obviously weather dependent.
Members should make their own arrangements (car sharing would be great) to attend and we can meet up during the show.
This will hopefully be an opportunity for members to get some images for entry into ‘Flight’, the set subject for November’s competition (entries due in early October).
